747 Lead-Free OCR Modified is a lead-free thread compound for casing, tubing, and line pipe. In the modern movement towards less hazardous thread compounds, 747 Lead-Free OCR Modified offers an alternative to API Modified which contains lead. 747 Lead-Free OCR Modified is used in downhole service and protects pipe threads on pipes in storage. The protective capabilities of 747 Lead-Free OCR Modified are enhanced by the addition of corrosion and H2S inhibitors. This product meets all API performance specifications.
