1152 Black, Water-Based External Pipe Coating
Protekto-Coat® 1152 is a HAPS-free, black, water-based pipe coating formulated to provide excellent rust protection to external tubular surfaces. Protekto-Coat® 1152 is the result of the latest available technology in waterborne coatings in terms of metal protection. This environmentally friendly, fast drying coating provides low VOC emissions and exhibits good adhesion to steel surfaces. Protekto-Coat® 1152 provides a high gloss finished coating, which results in a long-lasting protection against corrosion without flash rusting, thus minimizing metal loss. Protekto-Coat® 1152 is a high-performance coating having excellent impact resistance while providing good surface penetration. Protekto-Coat® 1152 produces a black, durable film that resists cracking, peeling, or scaling off under varying conditions. Protekto-Coat® 1152 is manufactured using biodegradable materials.
