220AG Copper Seal Premium, Arctic Grade Drill Collar Compound
220AG Copper Seal is an arctic grade, lead-free, quality lubricating sealant for application in arctic or arctic-like conditions. 220AG Copper Seal services low temperatures and provides anti-seize performance required for breaking in new tool joints, lubricating drill collars, and for sealing casing or tubing. It is used in all areas of the petroleum industry, from drilling to production and from refineries to petrochemical plants, and in the water well industry. 220AG Copper Seal is recommended for use on rotary connections and provides protection against galling and seizing or damage to threads on drill collars and tool joints, even under the most demanding conditions, including severe down hole conditions. It eliminates the need for wire brushing of threads to remove buildup often experienced with other compounds. 220AG Copper Seal provides a leak-proof seal for tubing and casing connections and assures consistent makeup torque. It is also effective when used on downhole production tools or pumping equipment.
