221AS Copper Seal II Copper Anti-Seize Compound
221AS COPPER SEAL II is a lead-free, zinc-free anti-seize compound which provides protection to threaded connections of most compositions and configurations. 221AS COPPER SEAL ll Anti-Seize assures proper make-up and reduces, or eliminates, metal-to-metal contact, which lowers friction and reduces both make-up and break-out torque. It is used in a broad range of industrial, marine, and oilfield operations that require a connection that is leak-free and is easily broken out for repairs. It can be used in high-temperature service and will not harden over long intervals of service.
221AS COPPER SEAL II can be used on a wide range of applications such as threaded connections, studs, bolts, flanges, keyways, gaskets, or in applications where protection against corrosion, leakage, damage to connections, or to mating surfaces is required.
