328 Biodegradable, Premium Connection, Metal-Free Thread Compound
328 OCR Modified Thread Compound is a biodegradable, premium connection, metal-free compound for tubing, casing, and line pipe service. 328 OCR Modified provides continuous sealing properties, correct make up/breakout torque, and long term corrosion protection to tubular goods during periods of storage. The presence of Teflon®** provides 328 OCR Modified with excellent E.P. lubricity to connections designed to provide metal to metal sealing. The absence of metals eliminates galvanic corrosion while making 328 OCR Modified the ideal thread compound for today’s stringent environmental concerns. 328 OCR Modified meets the objective for eliminating hazardous materials in the work place as presented in OSHA Communication (29 CFR 1910.1200).
